The Team
Our Internal Change and Transformation Team support our Managing Partner and Management Committee on a wide range of strategy, innovation, data and tech projects. Role Summary
We are looking for an energetic developer who is looking for a new challenge to apply their skills across a variety of internal technology development projects. Ideally, you will have experience of both front-end and back-end development. Alternatively, you may have mastered one element and want to further your knowledge with new coding languages.
Responsibilities
  • Build high quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
  • Continue to enhance existing internal web based applications, prioritising enhancements to deliver a better user experience, on both desktop and mobile apps
  • Support technical integrations with new third party software providers
  • Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
  • Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
Core Skills
  • Proven track record of software project delivery & contribution at all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python, Java, C#)
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML , CSS, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL), webservers and UI/UX design
  • Experience working as part of agile development squad
Qualifications / Experience
  • Degree in computer science, or similar
  • 5+ years of full stack development experience, or similar role
